City Police report drugs were kept from the streets thanks to efforts of local and state law enforcement.
A Court Street Drug bust resulted in the arrest of three people and the seizure of a large amount of drugs according to a press release from Plattsburg Police department. Reportedly, State Parole Officers requested assistance from City Police during a home visit of a Plattsburgh parolee. As a result of a search, Chief Jarrod Trombley said a substantial amount of fentanyl was removed from the streets. Three suspects were charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell along with lesser charges. City police were assisted on scene by State Police. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending, the police statement said.
