Plattsburgh High School made history at the 2025 New York high school indoor track and field championships, with its 4x200 meter relay team winning the Division II state title. The team, consisting of Braydon Caraballo, Nathan Lambert, Nate Baker, and Dominic DeAngelo, set both a school and Section VII record with a time of 1:32.37 minutes. The athletes expressed relief and surprise upon hearing their name called for first place, as they initially thought they had finished second. The team’s success is attributed to their athleticism, with all four being standout athletes in other sports, including soccer and football.
