The annual Independence Day holiday law enforcement crack down on impaired drivers is underway.
State Police and local law enforcement agencies have increased patrols leading up to the July 4th holiday. It’s a crackdown on reckless and impaired driving. Law enforcement officers from across the state will conduct sobriety checkpoints and target dangerous and aggressive driving during what is considered the busiest travel weekends of summer. The campaign began on Monday and will run through Sunday.
