Rail Trail Detour

Hikers and bikers using the Adirondack Rail Trail will see a detour this week due to work on train depot.

A segment of the Adirondack Rail Trail bike path will be temporarily closed starting today through Thursday, October 2^ndaccording to the Department of Environmental Conservation. The closure is required to ensure public safety while a contractor works on the Saranac Lake Train depot with lift equipment on site. Signs and safety tape will be added to the closure area for the duration of the work.
