State Police report an arrest was made in a North Country stabbing incident.
Early Monday morning New York State Police received a report of a stabbing incident at a residence on Plank Road in the town of Moriah. Troopers say their investigation revealed that 53-year-old Bonnie J. Hash of Mineville allegedly stabbed a sleeping victim in the left shoulder. When the victim attempted to escape by car, the suspect got into the passenger seat and refused to exit. The victim drove to the Ticonderoga Police Department and the passenger then fled the scene. Ticonderoga PD notified the State Police. Bonnie Harsh was eventually located and Troopers say they arrested her on charges of attempted robbery, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. She was arraigned in Moriah Town Court and taken to Essex County Jail. She’ll be back in court to face allegations.
