Governor Kathy Hochul has announced that a special election to fill the vacancy in the 115th Assembly District created by the resignation of Billy Jones will coincide with the general election on November 4th. The Democrats officially announced that Plattsburgh Town Supervisor, Michael Cashman, is their candidate while the Republicans presumptive candidate is Brent Davison a retired state police commander.
