Some Plattsburgh State faculty and staff members were recognized for their achievements.
Six SUNY Plattsburgh faculty and staff members were selected as recipients of this year’s Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. According to the State University of NY, the awards are a system-wide honor given to faculty and staff to acknowledge their superior professional achievement. This year’s SUNY Plattsburgh honorees are:
- Dr. Raymond Carman: Excellence in faculty service
- Dr. Arzu Gul: Excellence in adjunct teaching
- Shelley Laurin: Excellence in classified services
- Dr. Mark Lesser: Excellence in teaching
- Dr. Rajesh Sunasee: Excellence in scholarship and creative activities
- Dr. Kelly Theisen: Excellence in teaching
