A special property tax exemption for veterans who were part of classified missions or served on a submarine in a time of war has passed the Senate. The bipartisan legislation, co-sponsored by Senator Dan Stec, would provide a 10% property tax abatement for veterans meeting the criteria. Senator Stec urged the Assembly to take up this bill as well.
