Downtown Plattsburgh will morph into a giant arts festival again this year.
The Lake City Arts Fest will be Saturday, August 23rd on several streets in Downtown according to the city of Plattsburgh. Now in its fourth year, the free celebration of arts and culture will shut down Margaret, Brinkerhoff and Durkee Streets to provide a venue for the family friendly event. The arts fest--a collaboration between the City and Strand Center for the Arts--will feature interactive art experiences, kids’ activities and live music. It starts at 11am and will run until 4pm.
