A new study shows smoke from forest fire may be worse than health officials first thought.
Wildfire smoke, such as the area has seen from Canadian fires, is a greater health risk than previously thought according to a new study from the University of Washington. UW’s Dr. Coralynn Sack says the threat comes from tiny particles in the smoke. Wildfire smoke could become the nation's deadliest climate related threat by 2050 the University’s Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences projects.
