YMCA Break In

Information from a caller is credited with helping police catch suspects connected to YMCA break in.

According to City Police Chief Jarrod Trombley, a resident near the YMCA on the Oval reported that individuals were allegedly breaking into the building. The caller stayed on the line with dispatchers, giving real-time updates as City Patrol Officers arrived on scene.  After a brief foot pursuit, the fleeing suspects were detained.  Chief Trombley said “This case truly highlights the vital role our community partnerships play.”
