In Wisconsin, 85 individuals fell ill after unknowingly consuming THC-infused food from a local pizzeria. The CDC reported that customers, ranging from 1 to 91 years old, experienced symptoms consistent with THC intoxication after eating items like pizza, garlic bread, and sandwiches from the shop. Seven of them required hospitalization due to symptoms such as dizziness, sleepiness, and anxiety. The pizzeria shared a kitchen with a state-licensed business that used THC-infused cooking oil, leading to unintentional contamination. Following an investigation, the pizzeria reopened after cleaning and sanitizing. (Complex)
