A bear was observed taking advantage of residential amenities in Punta Gorda, Florida over the course of two days. On Sunday, the animal was spotted relaxing in a homeowner's hot tub before moving to an outdoor couch, where it napped for six hours. Footage captured the bear removing the cushions prior to settling in. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) responded, using hazing techniques to encourage the bear to leave the property. The animal then climbed a tree in a nearby vacant lot. The following day, the bear descended and was successfully trapped using doughnuts as bait. Wildlife officers subsequently relocated the bear to a state park. (UPI)
