Kenya's Catholic Church has launched a new altar wine brand after discovering the previous sacramental wine was being sold in local bars and liquor shops. "The newly approved wine is not for sale at any business outlet, but is imported and owned by the KCCB, and only distributed to the dioceses," Archbishop of Nyeri Anthony Muheria told the BBC. The church selected a South African vintage after reviewing multiple options.
