Timothy Myers Poole of Tyler, Texas, is facing criminal mischief charges after allegedly vandalizing a Veterans Day flag display and leaving his driver's license behind. According to the Smith County Sheriff's Office, Poole tore down American flags and bent poles at the Rotary Club of Tyler's "Field of Valor" display at the Rose Garden complex Thursday night. Police spokesperson Andy Ebaugh confirmed Poole left his driver's license at the scene. Poole also allegedly damaged Lakewood Church in Flint by throwing a concrete piece through the front door glass. A deputy later arrested Poole during an unrelated traffic stop after he acted aggressively and refused orders to leave. The Rotary Club estimates over $2,000 in damage to replace broken flag poles.
