Tiron Alexander, a Florida man, has been convicted of wire fraud and unlawfully entering secure airport areas by pretending to be a flight attendant. Over a six-year period, Alexander exploited an airline program for employees, boarding 34 flights for free by submitting false information to the airline's employee flight booking system. He used fabricated badge numbers and falsified hire dates to deceive airline staff, claiming to work as a flight attendant for multiple airlines. In total, Alexander managed to book over 120 free flights by impersonating a flight attendant on various carriers. He now faces a potential sentence of up to 30 years in prison at his upcoming sentencing on Aug. 25. (Newser)
