A Massachusetts man, Sylvester Semedo, won a $300,000 lottery prize by using a set of numbers from his old work elevator. The Massachusetts State Lottery revealed that Semedo played the numbers 2-6-10-14-18 three times on a Mass Cash ticket purchased at Jenny's Market in Weymouth for the June 26 drawing. These numbers corresponded to the floors the elevator would stop on at his previous workplace. As a result, Semedo received $100,000 for each set of numbers played. He expressed his intention to use some of his winnings to attend a Boston Red Sox away game. (Upi)
