A rare dual Logoman card featuring NBA legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant has become the most expensive sports card ever sold, fetching $12.9 million at auction. Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary was the buyer. The one-of-a-kind 2007-08 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection card, which includes both players' jersey patches and autographs, more than doubled its pre-auction estimate. It surpassed the previous record holders - the T-206 Honus Wagner baseball card ($7.25 million) and the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 ($12.6 million). Heritage Auctions' Chris Ivy hailed the card as "the finest modern basketball card in the world." Before this, the top basketball card sale was a one-of-one Stephen Curry Logoman rookie card that sold for $5.9 million privately. The new record holder is the only card pairing Jordan and Bryant with Logoman patches, including a gold variant from the NBA's 50th season. (Newser)
