A robbery suspect remains hospitalized after being stabbed with a samurai sword during a Tuesday morning home invasion in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Marcus Armstrong, who attempted to rob a man at gunpoint outside a Blackberry Alley home around 8:45 a.m. When a female victim escaped inside, Armstrong forced entry and encountered her roommate wielding a samurai sword. "The roommate defended himself. He had the samurai sword and took a swipe at the suspect," said Det. Josh Samuels of Norristown Police. "It was a pretty chaotic scene this morning." Armstrong fled but was found bleeding heavily on a nearby street. (Story URL)
