TikToker @samanthawhitebrochu claims she was almost scammed at Dunkin'. While she was going through the drive-thru, she learned that the man in front of her told employees that she would be paying for his drink. "To the random guy in front of me at the dunks drive thru who lied to the employee and said I would be paying for his order, I hope you have the day you deserve," Samantha wrote in her TikTok video. While the employees didn't make her pay for the extra beverage, commenters were surprised they believed the man. "I find it shocking employees are believing a paying it backwards scenario," one joked. Typically, when you "pay it forward", you offer to cover the cost of the food or beverage of the person behind you, not in front of you. (Daily Dot)
