Iran attacked a U.S. military base in Qatar with ballistic missiles, in retaliation for recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites. Qatar's defense ministry said its air defenses successfully intercepted the missiles, and there were no casualties. The U.S. was aware of the potential threat and had taken precautions, including moving non-sheltered planes. (UPI)
