Despite facing widespread discrimination, bias, and violence in their own country, these individuals made significant contributions to the war effort that are often overlooked in popular media. Matthew Delmont, a history professor at Dartmouth College, joins us to highlight the experiences and impact of African American soldiers during this pivotal time in history.
