Black Bass Season Opens Monday in New York

New York’s regular black bass fishing season opens Monday and runs through November 30. State environmental officials say anglers will find excellent largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing opportunities across New York, including Lake Champlain and the St. Lawrence River. Fishermen are reminded to check current regulations, as size and catch limits vary by waterway.
