Plattsburgh Police Receive Funding for Mobile Outreach Unit

A new mobile community outreach program is coming to Plattsburgh after funding was approved for the city’s C.O.P.S. Mobile initiative. Police say the converted outreach vehicle will provide safety education, fraud prevention information, internet safety resources, bike registration, and neighborhood problem-solving events. Officials expect the program to begin operating in the spring of 2027.
