Chateaugay Man Charged In Alleged Check Fraud

42 year old John Patterson of Chateaugay is charged with second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and third-degree grand larceny. State Police say he allegedly altered a company check worth nearly $19,000 and cashed it at a Plattsburgh bank.
