Community members are helping create a new Monarchs and Milkweeds mural at Melissa Penfield Park in Plattsburgh. The artwork is being painted on the outdoor handball court and will include butterfly wings for photos. Work will continue through the first week of September, with related park walks and a butterfly release planned. North Country students may also submit butterfly garden posters to City Hall through September 7.
