Homicide Suspect Thomas Ryan Apprehended

32 year old Thomas Ryan is in State Police custody following a multi-day search connected to the killing of his father in Orange County. Police say 70 year old Robert Ryan was found dead August 6 after a deliberately set house fire in Greenville. Authorities located Thomas Ryan early Sunday in Schoharie County after tips from the public helped officers track down the victim’s Toyota Prius. Ryan was treated for injuries and remains hospitalized in stable condition.
