Clinton County sheriff’s deputies arrested 51 year old Melissa Couture of Chazy Monday night. Deputies allege Couture was speeding while driving under the influence of drugs. She was charged with first-offense drug-impaired driving, speeding and operating an unregistered vehicle. Couture was processed and released with appearance tickets for Champlain Town Court.
