Mayor’s Cup Regatta Draws Sailors to Lake Champlain

The 49th annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta brought close racing and new winners to Lake Champlain Saturday. Organizers say sunny skies, steady winds and more Canadian and first-time entries helped make the event a success. Craig Meyerson of Peru won the Spinnaker A Fleet aboard Souvenir, while several other sailors claimed division titles.
