Norsk Titanium Selected For Defense Manufacturing Project

Plattsburgh-based Norsk Titanium has been selected for a fully funded 12-month America Makes project. The work will help qualify the company’s titanium products for use across all branches of the U.S. military. The selection follows a separate $4.2 million federal award supporting submarine and maritime manufacturing.

Lake Placid Man Arrested on Trespass and Harassment Charges

33 year old Arthur L. Huddleston Jr. of Lake Placid was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment. Police say the charges stem from a reported domestic incident in November 2024. Huddleston was taken into custody on a warrant, arraigned in Lake Placid Village Court and released on his own recognizance.
