Lake Placid Man Arrested on Trespass and Harassment Charges

33 year old Arthur L. Huddleston Jr. of Lake Placid was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment. Police say the charges stem from a reported domestic incident in November 2024. Huddleston was taken into custody on a warrant, arraigned in Lake Placid Village Court and released on his own recognizance.

The Boonville-Oneida County Fair fireworks originally planned for Wednesday night have been rescheduled for Friday because of the weather forecast. Boil Water Order Lifted in Plattsburgh

The City of Plattsburgh says the boil water order for 3 through 15 Battery Street and 45 Pine Street has been lifted. Residents and businesses at those addresses may resume normal water use. The order had remained in place until testing confirmed the water was safe.
