• Boonville-Oneida County Fair Fireworks Moved to Friday

  The Boonville-Oneida County Fair fireworks originally planned for Wednesday night have been rescheduled for Friday because of the weather forecast. The display will begin at dusk and is included with fair admission. The fair continues through Sunday with rides, agricultural exhibits, entertainment, food and family activities.

• Boil Water Order Lifted in Plattsburgh

  The City of Plattsburgh says the boil water order for 3 through 15 Battery Street and 45 Pine Street has been lifted. Residents and businesses at those addresses may resume normal water use. The order had remained in place until testing confirmed the water was safe.

• Rabies Vaccine Bait Drop Planned in Essex County

  The Essex County Health Department says oral rabies vaccine baits will be distributed in northeastern parts of the county beginning on or after August 5.
