Primary Election Day Underway In New York

Polls are open across New York today for primary elections. Voting began at 6 a.m. and continues until 9 p.m. State law allows only registered members of a political party to vote in that party’s primary election. Charity Softball Tournament Raises Money For Cancer Causes

An all-women’s charity softball tournament in Morrisonville helped raise money for women’s cancer programs over the weekend. Organizers say 11 teams took part in the fourth annual event, generating more than 11 hundred dollars before the first pitch was even thrown. State Fair Tickets Go On Sale July 6

Regular tickets for the 2026 New York State Fair go on sale July 6th. Admission will cost six dollars plus fees and is valid for any one day of the fair, which runs August 26th through September 7th in Syracuse. Children 12 and under and adults 65 and older will be admitted free every day.
