The American Red Cross is continuing to assist two people displaced by a house fire in Plattsburgh. The fire broke out Monday evening on Sailly Avenue, forcing one adult and a 7 year old child from their home. Red Cross volunteers stepped in with emergency financial assistance for shelter, food and clothing, along with health services, blankets and comfort kits. Officials say support will remain in place in the coming days as the victims work through recovery.
