  More than 260 students earned degrees and certificates during North Country Community College’s commencement ceremony in Saranac Lake. Family, friends, faculty and staff gathered Saturday to celebrate the Class of 2026 during the school’s 58th graduation ceremony. Graduates completed programs ranging from criminal justice to nursing and massage therapy.

• Clinton County Names New Probation Director

  Clinton County lawmakers have appointed April Hamilton as the county’s new probation director. County officials say Hamilton brings more than 25 years of experience, including more than two decades with the Clinton County Probation Department in leadership and supervisory roles.
