State Announces $78 Million for Water Quality Projects

New York environmental officials have announced more than $78 million in grant funding for water quality improvement projects statewide. The money will support wastewater infrastructure upgrades, drinking water protection, flood resilience efforts, and harmful algal bloom prevention. Municipalities, conservation districts, and eligible organizations can apply for funding through July 31.

Wastewater Training Event Set at Clinton Community College

Wastewater operators from across the North Country are being invited to a training event June 24 at Clinton Community College’s Institute for Advanced Manufacturing in Plattsburgh. The one-day program will offer hands-on instruction in pumping systems, maintenance, controls, and operations.
