SUNY Canton Honors Hall of Fame Class

SUNY Canton has inducted six new members into its Hall of Fame, recognizing outstanding alumni, former employees and community partners. This year’s honorees include Robert Barry, Bryan Felitto, Peggy Levato, Laura Rozell, Carl Trainor and SeaComm Federal Credit Union for their leadership, service and lasting contributions to the college and North Country community.

Lake Placid Woman Charged With Illegal Open Burning

34 year old Kelley Gifaldi of Lake Placid has been charged with unlawful open burning after police say she burned household trash in an open fire outside her Sentinel Street home on June 24th. She is accused of violating state open burning regulations and is scheduled to appear in court on July 16th.
