SUNY Canton Welcomes New EOP Students

SUNY Canton recently welcomed nearly 30 new Educational Opportunity Program students for summer orientation. The residential program helps students prepare for the fall semester while building campus connections. Nearly 100 EOP students are enrolled at SUNY Canton, with classes beginning August 27.

  • Free Outdoor Concert Planned in Cadyville

    The Town of Plattsburgh will host a free outdoor concert featuring local band Last Call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cadyville Recreation Park. Food will be available, and guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets. The event is open to the public.

  • Plattsburgh Plans Purple Heart Day Ceremony

    The Town of Plattsburgh and Clinton County American Legion will hold their third annual Purple Heart Day Ceremony Friday at 7 p.m. at Battlefield Memorial Gateway Park. The event will honor service members wounded or killed in action and include a community reflection lap along the Purple Heart Trail.
