A new Gallup poll shows 23% of Americans believe the healthcare system faces a crisis or major problems. The survey of 1,300 adults found healthcare costs rank as the biggest health problem for 29% of respondents. Partisan divides emerged, with 81% of Democrats and 64% of Republicans viewing the system as seriously troubled. "It's not that they don't have the plans," said Lydia Saad, Gallup's director of U.S. social research. "They can't afford the plans." Cost concerns jumped 12 points among Democrats and 10 points among Republicans since last year. A separate KFF survey found over one-third of Americans delayed medical care due to expenses.
