Adirondack Regional Blood Donor Center Announces 18 Blood Drives in April

Walk-in donations to support local hospitals are encouraged.

The Adirondack Regional Blood Donor Center, part of the University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH), is organizing 18 community blood drives in April to ensure a steady supply of blood for the North Country. The center’s efforts benefit not only CVPH patients but also those in need at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, Elizabethtown Community Hospital, and Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake. Located at 85 Plaza Blvd., the Donor Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., welcoming walk-in donors. To donate, individuals must be at least 16 years old, in good health, and weigh at least 110 lbs. A screening questionnaire and identification are required, and donors must wait 56 days between donations.
