Farmers can begin the application process of getting reimbursement from the state for overtime paid.
As tax season opens, the New York State Department of Agriculture announced that the State’s Farm Employer Overtime Credit advance portal is now open for farmers to register and begin preparing the documents they will need to apply for reimbursement. Eligible farm employers may apply for a certificate of advance payment of overtime paid to their employees between January and July of this year.
