Acting on a tip from a concerned citizen, area border patrol agents located six who entered U.S. illegally.
Six citizens of India were apprehended at the Plattsburgh bus station according to Border Patrol Agents from Champlain. An investigation by the Border Patrol out of the Swanton Sector reportedly started with a tip from a citizen. Agents say it was determined that the six who were taken into custody had illegally entered the U.S. through the woods in the middle of the night and were waiting in Plattsburgh to catch a bus to NY City.
