Plattsburgh Town Supervisor, Chuck Kostyk, is encouraged by the December increase in border crossings.
Following the news that Canadian border crossings increased in December, Town of Plattsburgh Supervisor Chuck Kostyk said the increase is an encouraging sign. In a statement Kostyk noted that “It shows that collaborative efforts to strengthen cross-border relationships are making a difference.” The Supervisor thanked Garry Douglas and the North Country Chamber of Commerce for their leadership which, he said, has helped reinforce regional ties and promote the North Country as a welcoming destination for Canadian visitors.
