Senator Chuck Schumer says a proposed cut in federal spending includes Essential Air Service.
According to Senator Schumer if federal budget cuts include Essential Air service, Plattsburgh International Airport and 4 other North Country facilities could be impacted. The Chairman of the Clinton County Legislature, Mark Henry, said in a statement that if that's the case the county will "work with federal partners to find a balanced approach that continues to meet the critical transportation needs of our rural communities."
