Feinberg Library will now serve as the physical library for both SUNY Plattsburgh and Clinton.
According to Dr. Joshua Beatty, Director of Feinberg Library. The consolidation resulted in a donation of over a thousand books from Clinton’s Douglas Library. Beatty said, “The acquisition is Feinberg’s largest and most significant in memory.” And he said, “This acquisition will enable Feinberg Library to undertake an overdue review of its print resources. Beatty said the Feinberg staff will only weed out materials that are over 45 years old, have not been used in 20 years and are still held by another SUNY library.
