Roof Repairs have forced the temporary closure of the Crown Point fishing pier the campground is open.
The fishing pier at crown point campground was closed by the state due to structural damage to the pier roof according to the DEC. Access to the remaining campground and day use area remain is allowed. Out of an abundance of caution to ensure safety, fishing and walking on the pier will not be allowed while DEC works with a structural engineer to evaluate the infrastructure and determine next steps.
