A CVPH program that takes advantage of the healing powers of nature will start next month in Plattsburgh.
The FitzPatrick Cancer Center is bringing natures benefits to cancer survivors through group meetings that focus on a nature-based approach to living beyond cancer. Oncology Social Worker, Stacey LaFave, will use techniques of forest and horticultural therapy to connect people with the healing benefits of nature and plants. The first meeting is on April 14th and then every other Tuesday through October 27th. To register for the program, contact The FitzPatrick Cancer Center.
