Data is in from the State Police showing more tickets were given out this past holiday vs the pervious year.
State Police in the North Country Region issued nearly 3800 tickets over the Christmas and New Year holiday period. Statewide troopers issued a total of 47,711 as part of the “Drive High Get a DUI” national campaign. That’s nearly 2,000 more than in 2024. The initiative, which targeted impaired and reckless drivers, began on December 10th and ended New Years Day.
