Immigrant Hotline

NYS now offers an immigrant hotline seven days a week. The service is available on weekends 9am to 5pm.

The state Office for New Americans funds the hotline service through a grant to Catholic Charities Community Services according to the Department of State. The service provides callers with free immigration-related information. The hotline is staffed by multilingual call operators as well as a full-time immigration attorney. Assistance is available in over 200 languages. The hotline has answered more than 21,000 calls since January 2025.
