Unsuspecting travelers import invasive pests that damage crops

Kathryn Bronsky of the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) reports that invasive pests cause an estimated 40 billion dollars a year in crop damage.  Bronsky said a good place to go for information on ways to prevent the spread of invasive pests is aphis.usda.gov
